A weekend in the city

Monterrey has an awesome agenda for this week, here in FR we have made a lineup of events for the week! Starting on Wednesday up until Saturday. Check this out!

Wednesday April 24

As many of you already know, one of the best places in the city to enjoy to some music and a slice of delicious pizza is CAFE IGUANA. They recently re-opened and relocated themselves in San Pedro.  They open from tuesday till saturday, in this weekly FR agenda we start by suggesting wednesday, they have live band playing reggae music, there is NO COVER so get your pre-party started and head to the place to enjoy some nice DUB. Doors open at 6pm, make sure to bring your ID.

Thursday April 25

Up next on the event lineup for the week, we recommend this following event by Giggers. Also free for all and definitely a must on the agenda.

Friday April 26

Things are starting to heat up and we have just the right medication for this. You cannot miss this event on friday. It will be full of nice surprises for all of our friends. Beat of the century have put together this awesome lineup of artists to perform and make sure you have a good time. Its BYOB so feel free to get your favorite beer and meet us at the EVENT. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit/bikini and some sun block. This event is also NO COVER, check the event on how to get your invitation. Ready for some more PARTY!!? Well our friends in Voltage Studios have the perfect way to keep you going. Some international mixing by MISS NINE and of course the best National DJ’s in the scene. ARMIN KIDO HODZIC

What can we say about this “Kido”, definitely a must on your music collection. His styles include combinations and variations of Techno, Minimal and House, always delivering high quality sound and catchy melodies. Participant on Earth’s Curvature 2 representing Bosnia & Herzegovina with his track “Fire”, such fine work made him receive his invitation for Earth’s Curvature 3. On this third edition of the compilation he presents his track “Endless” which once again is an excellent demonstration of this Producer’s talent.

“ Armin Hodzic aka Kido (October 9th, 1992) based in Lukavac (Bosnia & Herzegovina).Through my life I have always been connected to music.I found out about Reason software from my older brother and my adiction to music started from that moment.I was only 13 years old when I had my firs touch with producing. At that time I was more into Hip Hop so I became a Hip hop vocal and producer.When I turned 15 I started to atend local Electronic music events and fel in love with House music.I stared to produce House music instead of of Hip Hop.Then I discovered Virtual DJ software and got into DJ-ing.When I turned 18 I quit producing Hip Hop and continued to produce House music.I signed my first track and then I realy got into producing and DJ-ing.I was suport by all local DJ’s from the very begining and that helped me a lot.A lot of releases are out and many more are comming and my music is getting better and better from track to track so stay tuned for new sounds.

FAFLOOX

Straight from Germany, Sven Holstein aka Fafloox participates on the third edition of Earth’s Curvature. His work is outstanding as it reflects his experience in the electronic music field. Not only has he contributed with his track “Stratosphere” for the compilation, he has also remixed a few tracks by Gordon like “90′s Revival” and “Usain Bolt”. He is now a very good friend of the label and we are proud to announce that we will be releasing an EP soon. Stay tuned for more information on Fafloox, Earth’s Curvature and his upcoming EP.

“ Wished his first keyboard at the age of 10. Driven by the early sounds of the 90s FafloOx found his love, electronic music. Started making music with a Roland MC 303. He was inspired particularly by artists like Emmanuel Top, Josh Wink, and Rob Acid. “

TIME LOW

Desde Brasil, TIME LOW participa en el tercer volumen de Earth’s Curvature. Esta pareja de productores Jefferson Nunes y Glauber Moraes nos envian su track el cual seguramente te pondra a moverte en el dancefloor.
